01 — Approach

A finished room is the easy part. The order you build it in is the job.

Blocking that was not set before the wall closed. A pan that was not sloped before it was tiled. A valve roughed to the wrong depth for a finish chosen three weeks later. None of it shows up on a mood board and all of it shows up in the bill.

Working design-build means the layout, the material and the rough-in get decided together, by the same people, before demolition starts.

How we work

Slate-look porcelain · matt black · frameless glass

The finished walk-in shower: frameless glass on a slate-look base, a matt black shower panel with a rectangular rain head and hand shower, marble-look porcelain running full height, and a recessed shelf at the far end.
The shower panel close up: a matt black column with a wide rain head cantilevered from the top, an integrated hand shower on a coiled hose, and a stepped porcelain shelf running along the return wall.
The shower floor finished: slate-look porcelain falling to a linear drain set tight against the glass, a mitred curb capped in the same stone, and the frameless panel landing on it with a flush floor clamp.

02 — Before and after

The same wall, seven weeks apart.

A corner jetted tub, four-inch tile and a bullnose cap partway up the wall. What replaced it is a book-matched Calacatta panel running full height, a rectangular soaker, a rain head on a wall arm and a floating oak vanity.

04 — What we do

Design and construction, one contract

Design

Layout, materials and fixtures resolved on paper before demolition starts, so the scope stops changing once the walls are open.

Build

Demolition, framing, plumbing and electrical rough-in, waterproofing, tile and finish carpentry, run by the people who drew it.

One contract

No gap between the drawing and the crew for a problem to fall into. The same people from first measurement to final adjustment.
